The basic terms for today's Växjö Energi Elnät AB were laid down in the original power station's regulatory framework from 1898, with the current distribution areas established in 1980. Växjö's electricity network is connected to the regional grid via two input points. From these points, distribution is carried out on our own network via six switching stations, 370 substations and 3,000 terminal boxes to finally reach the customer.
The network company distributes a total of around 515 GWh of electricity a year.
